At Spire Murrayfield Hospital, the physiotherapy outpatient department is based in Beechwood House, a stand-alone unit in the grounds of the main hospital. It comprises a spacious treatment area with 11 cubicles, a wellequipped gymnasium and an outdoor rehabilitation area.
Staffed by a highly qualified team of chartered and state registered physiotherapists, the department liaises closely with consultants and GPs to ensure that patients receive a highly individualised treatment programme or course of treatment.
The fully equipped department has state of the art technology including Isokinetic testing, gymnasium and outdoor rehabilitation track.
On a specialist level the department has strong relations with local GPs and specialises in orthopaedics and sports injuries. With a long history of providing services to major local professional sports teams from both football and rugby. Our staff have worked with elite athletes from a variety of sports.
